Aim of Trust
The Robert Roaf Charitable Trust seeks to support smaller charities of benefit to local communities.

Who is eligible?
Any small charity is eligible for a grant. This may be for a specific reason or may be for the use of the charity generally.

Size of grant
Grants are between £500 and £1000. Typically three or four awards are made in any one year.

When are grants made?
The Trustees meet in January of each year and awards are made at this time.

Examples of previous awards
In the past the Trust grant has been used to
   Purchase a photocopier
   Provide a mural on the wall of a hospital children's ward
   Support the work of a local charity for the blind
   Support work with young offenders in an inner city
